From the humble beginning in 1979, MC Computes became the driving force of the computer transformation of the Pharmaceutical sector in South Africa, better known as PharmaSoft. The founder of MC Computers, Mr. Tinus Joubert, a pharmacist by profession, created the original pharmacy practice software – PharmaSoft. This was capable of recording and documenting prescriptions, printing labels and copies of prescriptions, including providing most of the
medicine information required by a pharmacist to provide professional pharmaceutical services. PharmaSoft also introduced the concept of electronic claiming of prescriptions even before the credit card industry.

We not just limited to our core products, we are a software development company with 40 years of development experience. Since then, the Company has grown with the IT industry and developed a Health Care, Retail and Management software. Our special capabilities and software include complete Retail Point of Sale, Medicine Dispensing, Pharmacy Practice and Medical Aid Management Systems. This Includes the support and maintenance systems needed to maintain our installed customer base, in South Africa and abroad.

Our Service Level Agreement includes a 24x7 Client-server, computerised auto-repair system, Live Support through our Call Centre and Field Service with both our own and associated technicians.
